Director, Editor, Photograph and Cameraman, he gathered 15 years of international experience in the TV, film, music and artistic world.
Based in Berlin. Available for work internationally.

Within his framework, he has been awarded with “Jonestown Paradise Lost”, won the Playback Best Canadian Program Award at the 2007 BANFF WORLD TELEVISION AWARDS as Film- Editor, and was invited to Berlinale Talent Campus and BBC Film network as a Film Director. Additionally, his independent web-based projects like “BerlinerMoment” accumulated millions of views worldwide.
As a professional Film-Editor his credits also include numerous feature length programmes on international channels like the BBC, Arte, History Channel, Discovery Channel, France 2, Canal Plus as well as selections at Film Festivals.
Currently, Talneau works regularly with the Berlin Production company Kobalt Productions, with which he edit monthly numerous cultural and musical programs for ARTE: “BerlinLive”, “Tracks” or “Metropolis”.
He continues his ongoing collaboration with International Artists like Sasha Waltz & Guests and he is running the BerlinerMoment project, where he brings together his documentaries on innovative international musicians in Berlin and live concerts of the same artists he has filmed.
In 2017, Stephan Talneau will direct his first feature documentary for ARTE: Saz, the key of trust
